I found Dr. Blackwood because I had a horrible toothache. I’m one of those people that is terrified of dentists because of very bad past experiences. I found him and his staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Dr. Blackwood informed me about all the possibilities of my tooth. He explained how they would make me as comfortable and relaxed as possible during the procedure. I had the work done today and I am a fan of his for life. I have been to a few dentists in my life, but Dr. Blackwood’s office is far and away the best. The office itself is very clean and organized, but also comfortable and not intimidating. Dr. Blackwood is very friendly and relatable. I have had fillings, a crown, and my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Blackwood, as well as regular checkups. The more major procedures were good experiences and Dr. Blackwood and the hygienists stay aware of how comfortable I am and go out of their way to make sure I’m comfortable while they do an excellent job. I went in for a checkup today and Ashley was my hygienist. All of the hygienists at SLDC have been fantastic, but Ashley went way above my expectations. She explained everything she was doing, why they did it, and gave me some helpful tips. She was genuinely friendly and there was no tension or awkwardness, I really had a great experience today!

I went to Salt Lake Dental Care for the Six Month Smiles program. I’m an attorney and the thought of putting braces on my teeth was not something I wanted to do. But, I’ve wanted to fix my smile for years! I went to several consultations with other providers in the Salt Lake area before I chose Dr. Blackwood. Dr. Blackwood was the only one who took the time to explain why Invisalign wouldn’t work, but the brackets would (instead of just telling me Invisalign wasn’t an option). I am just about finished with the Six Month Smiles program now (it’s been about 5 1/2 months!) and I couldn’t be happier! Dr. Blackwood has the finesse to see and fix even the smallest details to ensure your smile is perfect, but is flexible enough to work within your timeline to accomplish your goals. I would recommend him to anyone considering six month braces — he’s the best!!

I recently visited Salt Lake Dental Care-Dr. Clint Blackwood’s office to have a filling replaced that had fallen out. I hadn’t been to this office before and was pleasantly surprised at my experience there. The entire office staff was friendly and courteous as well as being totally professional throughout the visit. I was kept informed throughout my visit with both the hygienist and Dr. Blackwood. I was very impressed with their knowledge and expertise and their interest in making me comfortable (even though I have no fear of the dentist). I highly recommend this dentist, hygienist, and this office and fully expect to continue to see them for my dental care.

We found Dr. Blackwood several years ago while we were looking for someone who did Zoom whitening. We couldn’t find anyone in Rock Springs who did it, so, after finding him on the internet, we ended up visiting Dr. Blackwood in Salt Lake to have it done. We have been loyal patients ever since. As a family, we make the 360 mile round trip for our checkups twice a year, and it is worth it. So, I normally don’t mind going to the dentist but I actually look forward to it now! Dr. Blackwood and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. I am a new patient and right off I felt very comfortable and at ease with everyone in the office. While riding a scooter at 7:20 on a Saturday night, our son fell and broke his tooth. We immediately called Dr. Blackwood. He picked up our call, despite being out to dinner with his family. After a brief conversation, he generously offered to meet in his office at 8pm. Dentist Blackwood — with great compassion, intelligence, and composure — determined that he could bond our son’s tooth back together. By 8:20 our son had a working tooth, and the problem was resolved. We are incredibly grateful for his generosity of time, immediate response, and successful resolution. I highly recommend Dr. Clint Blackwood for your dental care. I was born with a cleft lip and palate and have always struggled with my smile and teeth alignment. After having braces three times, I decided to have veneers. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Dr. Blackwood did a tremendous job with my veneers and I still cannot believe how perfect my teeth look after all these years. The staff and dental hygienist are wonderful!
